What should I do if my EEZYTRACE printer breaks down?

Introduction

The Brother QL‑820, TD‑2125, and TD‑2350 printers are used with Eezytrace tablets for label printing.

This guide helps you identify and resolve the most common connection, printing, or power issues, step by step.

1. Basic Checks

  • 🔌 Power: Check that the power cord is securely plugged in and that the power LED is lit.
  • 🩻 Paper/labels: The roll must be compatible with the model and properly loaded.
  • 🔄 Cover: Make sure it is securely closed after loading the paper.
  • 📶 Connection: The Eezytrace tablet must detect the printer via Bluetooth

2. Connecting to the Eezytrace tablet

  1. Turn on Bluetooth on the Eezytrace tablet.
  2. Turn on the printer; Bluetooth is configured by our team, but if the Bluetooth icon does not appear, please follow these steps:
    1. Press the menu button
    2. Scroll to Bluetooth
    3. Press OK and enable Bluetooth

*These steps apply to the QL-820 and TD-2350 models; for the TD-2125, Bluetooth is enabled automatically.

3. Common Issues and Solutions

Problem Possible cause Solution
The printer does not turn on Cable disconnected or faulty adapter Check the plug and try another cable.
No ticket prints Error message during printing Contact EEZYTRACE support
Print is incomplete or faint Labels inserted incorrectly or roll worn out Replace the roll and clean the sensor.

4. Reset and Update

  1. Press the Menu button
  2. Scroll to Administration => Reset => Reset to Factory Settings.

5. Contact Eezytrace Support or BROTHER Support

If the problem persists:

  • Submit a request via the Eezytrace support form.
  • Specify the printer model, connection type, and the part number of the roll being used
  • Attach a photo or screenshot of the error message.
