How to update your Android tablet software

If an error message blocks use of the tablet, it may be that a software update is required. Here's how to access the system settings and perform the update.

 

🔓 Step 1: Unlock the tablet to access the settings

  1. On the tablet screen, tap 5 times quickly.

  2. A text entry window will open.

  3. Enter the password provided by support.

⚙️ Step 2: Access system settings

Once you’ve entered the password, go to System Settings.

  1. Scroll through the list and tap "System Update" or "Software Update":

🔄 Step 3: Check for updates

  1. Check for updates:

  1. If an update is available, follow the instructions to install it.

  2. The tablet may restart during installation.
