How to manually force synchronization

Synchronize my data from the Eezytrace tablet to the Espace Manager.

Synchronization—that is, uploading records from the

app to the servers so they are available in the Manager Dashboard—is a task that runs automatically in the background (it occurs every few minutes). You can manually force synchronization so you don’t have to wait for the next cycle.

Follow the steps shown in this video or below to ensure your recordings are transferred to the Eezytrace Manager Dashboard:

  1. Check the Internet connection:

    • Make sure the tablet is connected to the Internet by checking the indicator at the bottom right in Eezytrace (green, red, or gray).
    • If the tablet is not connected, go to the Wi-Fi Center to connect it to Wi-Fi.
  2. Start synchronization in Eezytrace:

    • In Eezytrace, tap "No. of records to sync" located at the bottom right of the tablet. A help pop-up window will appear.
    • Then tap "Synchronize Data."
  3. Wait for the synchronization to finish:

    • Wait until the synchronization is complete. A confirmation message will appear to indicate that the synchronization is finished.

Does synchronization happen automatically?

If your tablet is continuously connected to the Internet, you don’t need to do anything; the data is automatically transferred to the storage space.

Best practice: Check at the end of each day to ensure that the number of records to be synced is 0.
