How do I set the Eezytrace tablet to sleep?

By default, an Eezytrace tablet automatically goes into standby mode after 2 minutes of inactivity, to save battery power. However, you can lengthen or shorten this time to suit your needs. Here's how.

🔓 Unlock the tablet

To unlock the tablet and access the admin settings:

  1. Contact our support team to obtain a temporary password:

  2. Tap the tablet screen several times.
    A password window will appear.

  3. Enter the password provided by support. This will
    give you access to the tablet’s admin settings.

  4. Tap System Settings to open the full Android settings.

🕒 Steps to change the screen timeout

  1. In the tablet’s Settings.

  2. Scroll through the menu and tap Display or Screen, depending on your Android version.

  3. Find and tap Sleep or Screen Sleep.

  4. Select the desired time before the screen turns off automatically (for example: 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.).

💡 Tip: For use in the kitchen or in production, it’s often best to set a longer sleep time (10 or 30 minutes) to prevent the screen from turning off too quickly.
